Today we attended a very interesting course with Sensei Tomiyama and Sensei Peter Hill. For the first half we did partner work whilst kneeling, which – although sore on the knees – was a nice change from attacking standing up, and a good insight into how to get out of things when on the floor. In the second half, Tomiyama taught us a kata (which I can’t remember the name of) and then we did partner work.
